Our trip started with dinosaurs out near Palm Springs, then to Joshua Tree, then past Lake Havasu.  Day 2, 12/24, included some amazingly brave hikes up Sedona’s Doe and Bear Mountain.  Doe Mountain is a “moderate” hike, and many hikers used the aid of hiking sticks.  Bear Mountain is labeled “hard” and “very steep.”  On occasion, we weren’t sure if we were on a trail, or a rock slide.
